Almost 8% blaze for European crude oil
The price of oil rises continuously after the Russian attack on Ukraine.
In London, Brent has exceeded $ 105 a barrel with a flare-up of around 8%.
The American WTI, on the other hand, rises to 100 dollars a barrel, with an increase of 7%. This is the highest level since 2014.
The prices of all raw materials are in tension, from gold, a traditional safe-haven asset, to aluminum, which exceeded the peak of 2014.
The prices of food products also rise, especially wheat, of which Ukraine is a major producer. The rise is 6%, such as to trigger the alarm for bread and pasta in Italy. According to Assutenti, the increases could be respectively 10% and 30%.
